The Mechanic Movie

The Mechanic Movie Synopsis: People are more familiar with Arthur Bishop (Jason Statham) as The Mechanic the truth. This is because this guy was really professional. It works like a machine that never experienced the error. Therefore, Arthur always be the best in its field. But that all changed when a tragic incident happened to Arthur.

Arthur is an assassin who is very talented. Killing is not just a job for Arthur but it was like a lifestyle. Arthur had time to regret what he did and when Steve (Ben Foster), son Harry, come and want to learn from Arthur was accepted even without the approval of the organization. In a short time Steve is able to learn the art of being taught to kill Arthur. Steve was then the assistant to Arthur though beneath it all there seems to be a hidden agenda.

The Mechanic Review

Making remakes is one of the easiest ways to ensure a successful film. On the other hand, it is also the most dangerous because the slightest wrong move is not a benefit but the invective the audiences were disappointed. As a remake, The Mechanic is arguably quite successful.

From the visual side, the new version is obviously more visible 'beautiful' than the version of Charles Bronson in circulation 1972. At the very least, the action looks more spectacular action while the tempo was maintained at a high speed and did not want anything to slow down to draw breath. Unfortunately, the tensions that shaped not only the visual and tangible to go into the psychological level.

The Mechanic scenario also experienced some changes for this classic story to be more relevant to today's modern situation, but unfortunately the formation of the characters seem less balanced. Arthur Bishop obviously get larger portions while Steve McKenna characters look very thin. Could be this is because Jason Statham is familiar with roles like this. Regardless, the chemistry between Statham and Foster could not seem well established.

In general, there is nothing really new from The Mechanic. THE AMERICAN who also picked up more or less the same theme far more weight than this film but in terms of entertainment, The Mechanic seem to feel more crisp.
