When I received an email from Chloë, the Art Editor on Artists and Illustrators magazine, asking if I would be able to photograph Sir Peter Blake for the December issue I could have jumped on the tube and gone to their offices to give her a big kiss. I moved to London from Yorkshire about six months ago, [for the benefit of any Londoners, Yorkshire is north of Luton] and having been dragged up there surrounded by whippets, sleet, hail, wind and coal, the last thing I would have expected to find on the Yorkshire coast was surfers.
