Further Jorge Rafael and his fellow researchers describe how the antioxidants in caffeine destroys free radicals associated with Alzheimer's disease and heart disease.

Recent studies show that coffee is one of the richest sources of antioxidants. But little is known about how antioxidants, including caffeine, works against free radicals.
