Berry Children Orphaned

Berry Children Orphaned - Some celebrities are now asking the world community to help support three orphans after they were injured in a car accident that killed both their parents.



The accident happened at about midnight on July 2, and the family drove back to Texas after vacationing in Colorado Springs, Colorado, traveling along U.S. 285 near Fort Stockton, Texas.



A man was driving north with his wife and one daughter (age 1 year) to be distracted when looking for a DVD, according to San Angelo highway patrol spokesman Shawn Baxter. The driver veered into another lane and hit the Berrys, who was traveling in the opposite direction. Wife of impaired drivers killed in a collision and he suffered serious injuries, but her daughter was not injured.

Joshua Berry, 41, and his wife Robin, 40, died at the scene, and their two children, Peter, 9, and Aaron, 8, had been treated for spinal cord injury in several Shriners Hospital for Children in Chicago, who have in-patient pediatric spinal cord rehabilitation center. Children will remain hospitalized until mid-September.



Aaron and Peter could never walk again, their uncle and legal guardian of Matthew Berry told ABCNews.com, "but we will be any miracle."



Berry's youngest child, Willa, 6, a broken arm, ankle, knee and wrist in the accident. He stayed with family friends in Houston. Give your support for Berry Children Orphaned.
