Announcing his resignation on Wednesday, Steve Jobs stated that he will continue to monitor and contribute to Apple. According to Carl Howe, an analyst with Yankee Group, the commitment shown by the presence of Jobs on Apple's last day in office shall serve as CEO while still in medical care.
