According to the Wall Street Journal, Apple has started to order the hardware type of chip, install the panels, and other key components for three new iPad. This new generation is also expected to be featured as a high-resolution screen (2048 x 1536) and 9.7-inch screen, which increased from 9.5 inches and a resolution of 1024 x 768 as in previous generations iPad 2.
Various media reports also say that this generation will be equipped iPad OLED screen. However, the Apple has yet to confirm anything about. One supplier claimed Apple had decided to assemble 1.5 million units iPad 3 in the fourth quarter.
Previously, Apple released the iPad 2 in March with a time lag of 15 months after the release of the first generation iPad. However, the release cycle seems to be accelerated in order to maintain Apple's dominance in the tablet market.
